Hi there,
I you are up for a 10 minute walk then turn right out of hotel, along the beach, past McDonalds & Post Office, right into Soi Post Office and 4th shop on right you'll find Sabai Sabai. Forget the place opposite (S&G) unless you want to try second best.
Wallee & Alex in Patong, phuket

Royal Palm does a lovely buffet breakfast for 150 bht. We too stayed at Patong Merlin but preferred to eat outside the hotel. Bacon, eggs cooked any way you like - cereal - fruit - the works pretty much and as much tea and coffee and juice as you like. Lovely.

It is on the Patong Beach road about 5 mins walk towards town from Patong Merlin.

Hi there,
150 baht for breakfast is expensive. About 100 baht should be then price for a full cooked breakfast, even cheaper in Sabai Sabai, from 70 baht for cooked breakfst, juice & pot coffee/tea. Unfortunately Sabai Sabai is closed for the month of April. Opens on 1 May, so you'll need to go to the place opposite at S&G during April.
Wallee & Alex in Patong, Phuket

Thanks for the info. I guess "the place across the road" is the place for our first breakfast in Phuket. We can find other places ourselves for the rest of our holiday.
regards
kev.
