Hi,
I have spent many a happy day in Patong. I have travelled to Thailand a few times and I think that Patong is brilliant.
On Soi Bangla, half way up (or down depending which way you are going!) you come to the Soi Katoey (Andaman Queen).
I had great fun with the 'lads' in the bars outside (baby bar, parrot bar etc.).
There was also a free show at the Andaman Queen bar right at the end of the Soi.
Is the bar still there?
I had heard it had closed, but dont know if it was just because of low season.

Maybe Alex can help me, or someone who has recently been.

Hi there,

Yes the Andaman Queen is still going strong the last time I passed by. Recent law enforcement makes all bars close at 02.00 and does not allow lewid shows, so the ladymen are not supposed to strip in public.

Thanks very much for the info. Yes, I have seen ladyboys strip in public also. Some are attractive, some look like bricklayers on a building site
