Staying in KL for the forst time in feb at pan pacific and wanting to know best way around, best place to go shopping, clothes, shoes, souvenier stuff, and prices if possible.
Will be spending 11 days overall in malaysia (8 in sabah) and have no idea how much money i will need, theres 2 of us. Have been to thailand previously but from what i can tell malaysia is more expensive.

Have you paid for the hotel?
Pan Pac is not a good location. You have to take teksi/cabs to shopping complex. Depends on what you buy, i would say RM1000 is enough for 2 person for 3 nights shopping in KL. Goto Chinatown for bargains, Central market for crafts. Other areas are mostly huge shopping complex.
If you can, change your hotel yo JW Marriott or Shangrila.
As for Sabah, things are relatively cheap but you will need a guide and local to bring you around. For 8 nights, prepare about RM 1000 or more for 2 person.
Hope that helps.

Sorry bout that. Dont worry, there are lots of teksi there to bring you to tourist spots. However the traffic at that area can be kinda bad at times.
RM 1000 would be enough for person for duration of 3 days in KL. Unless you're buying a lot of stuff, then you might need more.
Bring another RM1000 to Sabah, but for 8 days, i think you might need more. Where in Sabah are you staying?

Actually in Malaysia, the beer and cigiratte is more expensive due to the tax. Everything else is quite similar to Phuket.
Goto places like Chinatown ( Petaling Street ), Central Markets, Sg Wang Shopping Complex, Low Yat Plaza ( Electronics )...etc you will be fine.
Currency fr Baht to RM is the same, except you divide it by 10.
100 Baht = RM 10 +/-
