You will be able to get a boat from Ao nang to Railey. As with most things organised from the hotel directly it is usually more expensive. Just go for a quick walk along the front of town and you will come across plenty of places that can organise or direct you to the right location.

thanks for the advice, we are driving to ao nang from phuket, what would you advise on parking the car for 2 days in ao nang?

For the car:
park at your resort.

For the boat to Railey:
Just walk the boardwalk and a boatman will approach ... fantails leave every 5mins to Railey.
