August 2006 and the Mega Sale covers the whole country.

KL or the Klang valley as we called it has around 60 shopping centres altogether..last time i've checked. lots of Megamalls with 500 outlets or so....my european housemates did not understand why malaysian like to build shopping malls....maybe it is because it is air-conditioned and it is damn hot and humid to walk outside and stuffs....

The Singapore Sale from 26th May to 23rd July is much much better.

It's cheaper and more variety and better deals.

Is there any Shopping sale happening in Kl around the end of May and beginning of June? I am interested in getting clothes & shoes and some nice bags for my g/f, If there isnt any sale happening around this time, any suggestions in terms of which shopping centres to go?

Famous shopping complex and afforadable ones are Midvalley Megamall, and 1 Utama Shopping Mall. Take cabs there, they are not in KL Town.

i just went to Jaya Jusco One Utama a last few days. It's still promotion i think. i bought 2 pants and got 20% dicounts.

Just got back from a holiday in Malaysia and the mega sales started on the 22nd of JUly until 2nd of Sep i think..

All the shops have sales and you can get some good deals these days....I love shopping at Isetan, parkson grand and Metroyjaya when they have sales...

the favourite shopping center is KLCC, midvalley and OneUtama. Midvalley and Oneutama not is KL, must take cab, not far. Now shopping carnival but as malaysian, I think,everymonth is cheap sale. hmm..end of next month start again sale, because coming to Hari raya, Deepavali and Chrismas,
