As we will be in Patong during the World Cup, can anyone recommend some pubs that might be showing the Aust V Japan game. Preferably a pub with lots of noisy Aussies (so we won't seem out of place!!

i will be in patong the same time as well, i know of the "Aussie Bar" in Bangla Rd, they play all the major sports. may see u there for a beer or two & cheer on the aussies.

Molly Malones on the beach rd will have it, the Aussie bar to tho not much room to move when it get's packed....

The Irish Pubs would have a better atmosphere.

And the 100baht Pints daily promotion rocks!!!

Thanks for all the advice, we will probably check out both the Aussie Pub & Molly Malones & see which one has the most ex-pats. Gary, we'll keep an eye out for you & maybe catch up for a celebratory drink! There'll be 6 of us (3girls & 3guys) so if you see us, please introduce yourself.
