Just read a little further down and saw Stuarts message about weather...I guess we'll still go in October and take our chances.
Still want to hear people's opinions about the pros and cons of Phuket vs. Ko Samui. I've heard from several people that Phuket is more crowded, dirtier, etc. Not sure if they're just referring to Patong or the island as a whole. The opinion of someone who has been to both places would be much appreciated!
