Hi, We are lucky enough to be travelling Business class to KL from the UK with and allowance of 30Kilos, however Air Asia only give you 15 Kilos! Can anyone tell me if the route from KL to Phuket is a busy one and if they have had any experience of Air Asia being kind and letting you off a few kilo's. It would be a shame to not shop as much as I would like in KL!!!!!

KL Phuket route is very popular. You will have to pay fine when you check in. I have seen many paying for it.

Unlike the regular-fare airlines, Air Asia is very strict with the baggage allowance. If you're with a large group, it helps that you share each other's weight. But if it's just the two of you, then better check what you pack before transferring to the Air Asia flight.

I travelled on airasia from Bali to KL and they were a bit flexible with us, gave us an extra 5 kg and made us pay for the rest of the xtra weight. from Penang to KL they didnt give us an extra allowance and we paid for the entire thing.
