Visiting KL with my girlfriend in a few weeks.. Could you tell me the must see places, where to eat, where to drink areas and does the petronas tower have a restaurant? How hot on an evening , do i need jabs etc? Sounds a bit last minute but yioyu know the score with work and stuff,,, well up for it tho... and are there places to keep away from?

Popular places to visit are Chinatown, Batu Caves, KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, Central Markets and the major shopping complexs. Further out of KL bout 1-2hrs drive away is Genting Highland featuring Casino and Theme Parks. Further is Cameron Highlands featuring green mountains, fresh food and place to relax. How hot? It depends on the weather, it has been really HOT these few weeks. If it rains then it will be cooler. Else just pack light. You dont need any heavy clothings. I am not sure if there is a restaurant at the Petronas Tower, but there is one Revolving Restaurant at the KL Tower serving buffet dinners. Dont think you need any jabs.

The cabs here have meters. Depends on what time you take them, most turn them off at night and demand a one off payment from you.
