Dorset Regency is very close to a few major shopping complex. To name a few, Starhill (for everything designer labels), Lot 10, Sungei Wang, Low Yat (everything electronics). Walking distance from the hotel. Dorset is next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel, you can use the sky bridge from Ritz Carlton that connects to Starhill. Exit Starhill and you are at Bukit Bintang, turn left and you will see all the shopping complex i mentioned. KLCC is a short cab ride away. As for fakes, the authorities have been really tough on pirated DVDs. Other counterfeit items, just go to Pataling Street or some call it Chinatown. Bargain, and sorry, i dont know the price you should pay. Cheers.

I am stopping over at KL airport for 5 hours on the way home from Phuket in June. I would like to buy an XBox for the kids. They say they are not cheap in Phuket so thought they may be cheaper in KL. Can anyone in KL tell me where would be the best place to quickly get to from the airport and buy an XBox? And what price would I be looking at? Got to add - Love Malaysia, beautiful country, beautiful people. Have been there many time (Not to KL though, only KL airport.) Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi Pociana..I think if you have only a 5 hour stopover it will really not be enough time to get from the airport to central KL..not too sure where the shopping mall mention above is..but the airport is around a half hour by train ride or an hour by taxi just to get to the shopping areas one way..so a round trip would be in excess of 2 hours. I personally would not chance getting caught in traffic ect..It could be expensive to miss and have to rebook your flight home. This is my personal oppinion anyway. Cheers leeeleee
