Hi All,
I want to book at the Krabi La Playa Resort, has anyone stayed there and what did you think?
Any advice is appreciated

Very nice hotel, located 5-7 min (walking distance) from beach and main shopping street.

Room was very nice, only thing we disliked was the lack of painting in the shower.

Pool was excellent, nice with happy hour in the pool bar after spending a whole day at the beach.

Staff was excellent, very friendly and always helpful. When we arrived we got greeted by the manager, who gave us a free of charge upgrade the last few days of our stay.

Above all the value i got from hotel2 thailand.

we are a family of 4 visiting Krabi for a week in July. I have no knowledge of this area so am hoping someone can suggest a hotel based on what we like :
Great pool area (for the kids)
Lovely clean beach preferably with food /drinks available nearby
Access to good snorkelling (trips are fine)
Clean safe calm beach for swimming.
Preferably walking distance to local restaurants etc for our nightime meal and stroll.
Please give me some advice as to this hotel may suite us, or even just what area we should be looking at ?

There were plenty of toys and balls for the kids to play with, the pool is quite deep and not much of a toddlers pool.Just 1 minute's walk from the hotelis mini mart across the road for all manner of supplies.

Aonang is just 10 minutes walk away, or you can have a tuktuk for just 40 bahts to any stretch in Aonang,

There is better variety and tastier food outside along Aonang, spotted many residents dinning there...seafood is fresh and cheap, thai food is just fabulous.
