Hi,

Please can anyone recommend a nice and relaxing place to stay in KRabi/Phuket? We have 3 nights in each place so a resort & spa would be good.

Also, what is teh best possible means of getting from Krabi to Phuket in terms of time and sight seeing as we have put aside a day for the journey.

Is it better to stay in Krabi Town or away near the beaches?

Hi Krabi Town is a nicebut very quiet place. So you should stay at the beach, the best should be Ao Nang Beach, where you find good places to stay for any budget.
to go to Phuket from their (what do you want there?) having a nice way with nice landscape the best is to rent a car (not expencive), but I don't know if it is possible to have a one way rental!?
Have a good time in one of the most beautiful places.

The Sheraton is very nice at Krabi.

I prefer Krabi. ^_^

Can you get a boat from Phuket to Krabi?

Yes you can, there are ferries connecting them, but i think you have to stop in Phi Phi or something.

There are speedboat tours from Phuket to Krabi.
