http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g298570-d305749-Reviews-Radius_Inn_International-Kuala_Lumpur_Wilayah_Persekutuan.html radius has a bad name it seems-check the link above. Its on bukit bintang & not that far from petronas towers. We always walk there as its more interesting. The other tower is well worth the visit too. Petronas you have to be there early a.m. or no go. There is a large shopping ctr in towers & behind is a lovely garden area to walk or sit in. There are heaps of shops in sungei wang plaze which is 1 street below bukit bintang from the federal hotel end. k.L. has a nice bird park & that is just around the corner from the orchid gardens. Monkeys abound around this area, don't have your sunnies etc., on or they will pinch them \:\) Chinatown is also interesting. cheers The locals usually ask if u want to go to bat caves, yuk not for me to walk up heaps of steps to see bats!!

I am a female, & I have never felt unsafe in k.l. I often walk around at night & usually down the back streets where tourists don't usually go, & find everyone is friendly & i have been asked inside for a cup of tea.

KL is safe but you also must be cautious while walking at night especially your location is around small area Jalan Alor. But your hotel location is very strategic, just a walk few minutes you already can reach the food haven, Jalan Alor, further a little is the happening Bukit Bintang area.

Hi, Despite it being a Saturday night twice when we've been there, very busy, we have never felt in any danger at all. People are really friendly and there are plenty of people around all the time. Even when we walked around to more deserted areas it is safe. Have a good time, we love KL.

I've stayed at the Radius before, It is tired, but good bones the rooms are a good size and its in a very strategic spot with the night markets 1 street away. Basically I would rate it a good 3 star going onto 4 by Australian standards and when we stayed the AUD was 3 to 1 so it stacked up well on price. We never ate there as the markets are so close, many stalls open 23 hours a day and never needed roomservice, so cant comment there either. I contacted them last week and they inform me they are doing reno's at the moment floor by floor , so hopefully it will be back to its original splendour
