Hiya,

my 7 yr old loves jungle and water -leaches and all- we want to find a guide to take us to a park for up to a week.

We absolutely don't do elephant trekking (and avoid operators that do).

First part of holiday is in Phuket 12 - 22. We fly on July 4th.

Plenty of time to get somewhere else like Surat Thani or Khao Lak for a tour before leaving.

Recommendations, please?

Anyone tried them?

Unfortunately they also flog elephant trekking but we can opt for canoeing.

Soounds like your 7 year old would be happy in Khao Sok National Park. I have only read good things about Limestone Lake Tours. We are staying in the park for a few days the end of the month.

never read so much rubbish,elephant abuse rubbish,tortured for tourist pleasure rubbish,yes elephants are victims of poaching
but there are many more kept safe and well cared for,by elephant conservation trusts and private owners,
