I`m planning to go to krabi with my wife for a vacation atleast for 4 days 3 night..
My planing is to stay 2 days at island and 2 days at town area.

need your advice, where can i stay at the island and the town? what are the activities that i can do in both area..i hope this is my best vacation and the best for my lovely wife.thanks in advance..

krabi is a more laid back resort,nice beaches but known for the lush green vegetation and mountain rages,its main town is not so modern as some towns,but there is enough tourist things to keep you occupied (krabi.com)is a good web site,

During my research on krabi..most of the website said that Ao nang is the best place at mainland are..can anyone advice me what can I do if i stay at Ao nang area?Can i do all the activities e.g elephant ride,klong thom hot spring,tiger cafe,shoping at krabi..

Ao Nang area okay but lots of tourists. I stayed at Nopparat Beach area and this is very quiet, a lovelly long beach and with few people. Ten minute walk to Ao Nang if you want some activity in the evenings with lots of shops and restaurants. You can go to lots of islands from Nopparat or Nopparathara beach, they call it both names. You can see temple, elephant riding, snorkling, underwater diving seeing corals and coloured fish etc.Hot Spring about 70 kilometers from Krabi town so a little far if staying only 2 days. Phi Phi island is fantastic, snorkeling,swimming underwater sub or just getting the sun.

Trip Krabi Phiphi Thailand guidelines
1. Prices of hotels - Price about 500-1000baht/ night for guesthouse;
- Price about 2500baht per night for a decent hotel
2. Prices of Food about 80-200baht per meal
3.Transportation 200 baht motor bike rent per day, 50-100 baht per trip on songthaew (pickup)
4. For the Package 800-2500 baht per package
5.Leisure 100-200baht for 1 hour body massage/reflexology

Day 1: Take leisure walk around Ao Nang Beach and plan/’shop for your next activities. Night time, have seafood at any one of the restaurants beside the beach. The sound of the waves lulling you to enjoy your food. Do stay at Ao Nang Beach, the center of attraction for 2-3 nights at least. Buy necessary gears here and get prepared for your ‘island trips’. Ao Nang Beach has a pier that connects and brings you to the other beaches and islands. There are plenty of packages that you can choose from. Of course, you may opt to stay at other beaches i.e. Railay Beach.

Day 2: Travel National Park, Krabi town, Tiger Cave Temple, Wat Tham Sua ,jungle walk to Crystal Pool, Freshwater Emerald Pond , hot spring waterfall

Day 3-4: To find 1 day trip to go to islands( Koh Phiphi) for swimming, snorkeling and fish feeding.

Dive shops provide mask, snorkel and fins for hire at around 150 Baht a set per day. You will probably have to pay a deposit of around 500 Baht. They'll also offer you dive trips to, and education about, some of the most spectacular destinations in Southern Thailand.
- Mountain Biking in Kho-PhiPhi Thailand
Mountain bikes cost around 80 Baht per day to hire and can be found around Ao Nang. The terrain is spectacular and this is a great, and healthy, way to take in the most spectacular scenery.
- Fishing in Kho-PhiPhi Thailand
Line fishing with bait and soft drinks supplied costs 1,000 Baht for each boat. The trips are around 2 1/2 hours long and depart at 6am and 4.30pm.

actually i getting married next year march,so plan to go some sort like honeymoon at krabi..
so my plan is to stay 2 days at island area like phiphi island and balance of 3 day at mainland area like au nang..but confuse what activities can i do 2 days at phiphi and balance at au nang..
what can i do at phiphi for that 2 days?
and what can i do 3 days at au nang?
i like to have full day activities at both area?
