My family include 10 people with 1 year old baby, we plan to stay 2 days in BKK during Feb 2010, most people are over 60+.

we are able to spend about $us 100-150 per night for one room accommodation and are looking for something nice, preferably close the center and the chnatown and where we can ease to go out to looking for some local delicious and restaurant.

Pathumwan Princess is a good option for convenience of location. chinatown is just a short cab ride away.

I have stayed at the Pathumwan Princess hotel twice now and it is really close to everything and MBK is connected via the lobby so you can avoid the heat and shop till you drop and just go back to the hotel drop your shopping off before starting it all again.

Because there are so many of you too you might get a free upgrade, depending on whether they have rooms available. We were a party of 7 and we got upgraded to executive suites.
