and saturday departs from Perth at 0910 hrs.

they fly the same time every day but on sundays there is a stop over in bangkok for some reason.that is why i dont go on sundays virgen fly later in the day.

My family of 4 have been regular travellers to Phuket for the last 7 years and have stayed in Bang Tao, Patong, Karon and more recently Kata and our favorute resort of them all is the Katathani Beach resort. It is situated on a beautiful beach in a quiet cul de sac away from all the crowd yet is only a 2 min tuk tuk ride to Kata centre or about 20mins to Patong.
The resort has excellent facilities for the whole family, great restuarants and inter connecting tooms. There are even several excellent and very cheap restauarants rights across the road including a 7/11 type convenient store for all your needs and cheap laundry services. Better still around 2pm every day a small family with their wheelbarrow type stall setup daily for the best banana/chocolate pancakes you're ever likely to eat.
My wife and children (now aged 15 & 12) are extremely fussy and have certain stadnards that I am sure you will enjoy and appreciate at this resort. If anything it's clean, peaceful and assures you of a truly rewarding and relaxing break
