am staying at the rembrandt hotel in early april for 4 nights would appreciate any info on hotel or nearby places to visit also where to eat or where for a good night out many thanks !

Senor Pico's, the hotel's Mexican Restaurant, is pretty good. I have heard the Indian eatery is good too, although I don't eat Indian food.

Rembrandt is an old reliable in the Bangkok hotel scene. Rooms are fine. It also has quite a number of in-house dining options to choose from. You can also opt to make the 15 min. walk to Emporium for more shopping and eating.
