We are off to KL for the first time in April, we have booked 5 nights at the Citrus Hotel, then we are going to Phuket for 11 nights then back to KL for 4 nights which we haven't booked as we thought we could do that whilst there. Has anyone got any feedback on the Citrus Hotel.

Citrus is one of the cheapest hotels in KL. It's OK for a budget hotel. I stayed there for 1 night with my wife and daughter in 2009. The rooms were OK (basic), breakfast was fairly good (reasonable choice), though the internet was not free.

If there are a few of you and you are staying in Kuala Lumpur for at least 3 nights, then you'd be better off renting an apartment: http://www.kualalumpurcondo.com/
