Hi All,

always been to Phuket, now arriving in Bangkok next week and
would like to stay at Samui from 15-23.05.10.

How about weather, already rainy season or still good for some
days at the beach?

What hotel would you suggest?

Travelling alone and looking for small, private hotel, direct
beach front, rooms with balcony or beach access / view

Budget up to USD 60,00 / night incl. breakfest?

Cheers

Hey!! I and my husband went in samui villa on last week. Really this private villas ensure even more privacy, authenticity, and independence to guests. I was really happy to stay there.

I would head to Chaweng on Samui if you are traveling alone as this is the busiest resort with lots to do. Best place to be during the day on the beach is 'The Ark Bar' it is a fantastic place to spend the day, great people, great food, great music and you never have to leave as it becomes a lovely beach bar at night too. They also have accommodation, although i have never stayed here i would think it will be within your budget. Another nice Hotel a few minutes walk down the beach to the ark bar is 'Al's Resort' again should be in budget.
Happy holidays

The weather in Samui for now is a bit cloudy in the morning and you might face some rain during evening time. However, during noon time you still be able to enjoy sun.
That won't affect much of your travel plan. However, you may go for good seafood, or some massage instead if it rain in some day.

Hope you enjoy your trip in here.....

Cheers
