I will go to Krabi. Since Thailand has chaos nowadays..would like to know..Is my vacation safe? Bcoz my mother worried wth my decision to go to Krabi?..
Pls advise me on HALAL food? Which restaurant shld we go ?

Don't worry at all. Krabi and in fact most of Thailand is very safe. As for halal food there are a few restaurants if u look and ask around. There is a big new grand mosque too in town.

since currently some part of thailand was hit by flood right? and with the tsunami hit Indonesia.. im a bit worried with this situation.

Yes,there is much rain and flooding now in Southern Thailand. Krabi and Trang on the west coast is not as badly hit as on the east coast. Hatyai was flooded a few days ago but have since receded. Actually my plan to krabi/trang was delayed by the floods too. Wait for a week or two and everything will be back to normal. Nov to Feb is the peak season with nice weather but the freak rains now could be due to climate change. The hotel prices are usually higher during the peak season. I maybe there at end Nov or early Dec.
