Does anyone know anything about this resort. Friend are looking at going there in a few weeks?

It's a mid range hotel located on a side road from Karon beach. I suppose it offers value for money, but nothing very exciting about this hotel. No gardens and the small swim pool is on the roof. Not much of a sea view from the rooms, as too far back from the beach road and the rooms are side on to the beach. Also a bit remote as about half way between Kata and Karon villages, so it's a bit of a walk to the local shops, although the local market on the beach road is quite close. I visited some friends staying at this hotel a few years ago, they seemed quite happy, but they booked elsewhere the next year. Built and owned by a local Thai family, about 8 years old, 4 floor uninspiring box building.

Good standard hotel (3+ star) all facilities, very central in Karon Village, plenty of nearby shops & eateries. Only downside is the 10 minute stroll to the beach, and many of the rooms have no seaview. No worries.
