Hi Everyone,

People probably post this a lot in this forum.

I will be arriving in Phuket on Friday night. I want to go on 2 dives on sat or sunday morning. I got my open water dive license recently. Could someone please suggest one of the good sites? I will be staying at serenity resort which is located at Rawai Beach. I guess something nearby would be good.

Also, I am travelling alone, would be very nice to find a dive buddy here. I hope I will be able to find someone there.

Plenty of dive shop / operators in Phuket. Try diving at Shark Point, Anemome Reef and King Cruiser Wreck - those 3 dive sites are probably the best near Phuket for a day trip. Some dive operators offer all 3 in one day.

Don worry about finding a dive buddy. You will be provided with a dive master and there will be ablut 3 or 4 of you in your dive group per dive master.

If arriving on Friday evening and want to go diving on Saturday you have to book on Friday. The nicest sites are full daytrips BTW, as Manoj mentioned there is an excellent trip to Shark Point, Anemone Reef and Koh Doc Mai on Saturday. Including transfers, gear rental, etc. 4,100 Baht.
