Take me as being computer illiterate because that is certainly how I feel. Not sure where I ask this questions even. I have a flashing envelope and read it means I have a private message. I have hovered the mouse above and nothing is showing either. However when I get into messages it is saying I have none. So could you please tell me how to get of the flashing envelope. Or do I have a message and I don't know it.

Annoys me as well. I have no idea how to get rid of it.

Thanks for replying Alex, these things happen to me in fact my husband just about blames everything that funny on the computer as me having played with something. Anyway glad to hear I am not the only one with the envelope. If someone has sent me a message please forgive me for now answering as you can see I haven't got a clue how to.

I just click on the envelop and get the messages.
Next time I login the envelop has gone, unless there are new messages of course.

Steven I have been clicking on the envelop and it says 0 messages so It's still just flashing away. I think I will just ignore it and move on. Hope someone can remove it for me.

Lucky for you stevenl. That has never ever worked for me.Always flashing, and I just ignore it. Some sort of system bug.

What happens if you click on 'my stuff' next to the envelope and on all 8 menu choices there?

Tried clearing every option in my stuff. No change, it's a lost cause for me.
