I have just returned from a memorable trip diving around Phuket. I thought I would be bored with the same old day-dive sites I have dive many times before. Not at all!I signed up for SeaBees Super Sunday (4 dives)and dived first at Anemone reef. We saw a sea-horse, turtle, banded sea-snake and leopard shark(completely harmless to humans)all in the first dive. 2 interesting dives at Koh Bida Nok at Phi Phi in excellent conditions were followed by a brilliant night dive at Koh Dok Mai with a lot of night activity to see. This is definately my best ever day dive. I had an overnight at the Similans. The accomodation was basic to say the least and torrential thunderstorms added to the discomfort (I'm getting to old for this !)Next time I go I'll stay on a live aboard boat for the night. I think Scuba-Cat have one perminently out there. SeaBees were a good outfit with a comfortable and clean boat. I also thought the diving conditions were far superior diving at the begining of March rather than mid-May when I usually go to Phuket. Hope this is of interest. M
