beach vendors

When I travelled to Bali a few years ago, there were lots of licesnced vendors on the beaches bringing everything to right to you on the beach from drinks, to fresh fruits, to massages while you layed on your beach blanket. Is it like that is Samui as well? I have to admit it was quite nice to be waited on hand and foot while laying on the beach.. and it was all very inexpensive.

Yes you will find plenty of vendors on samui beaches (less on smaller beaches, but always present) fortunately, they never disturb you... they can see if you want to buy something or not and never insist... a nice plus if you are too lazy to go get a drink or some food from the shops!
