Hi can any Aussies tell me, what prices are like food/golf/shopping etc. compared to here. We also love Bali is Phuket similar.

From one Australian to another,the prices are amazing,beats Bali by a mile.By far the best place we've been to food is very cheap,generally speaking dinner will cost you about $10 and that's alot of food.B'fastyou can get American for about 60-70 Baht which is about $3-,again lots of food.Golf is expensive over there but the courses are like nothing you'll play over here,I've played the sandbelt in Melbourne all the best,and most of the courses over in Phuket are much better,worth the price by a mile.The shopping is fantastic Nike polos are about $8-, T shirts start from about $7-,we've been 5 times and can still wear the first lot we bought,quality is great.
