Dear members,
I was wondering what amount off money I have to spend to buy myself a pair of vins, mask and snorkel. And than I mean: cheap ones: ( 75 EURO ) good ones: ( 130 EURO ) The best ones: ( 200 EURO )
Prices that I have mentioned are in a diving shop in the Netherlands..
thanks in advance for any answers!!

Most of the cheaper masks are locally made, and therefore a lot cheaper than back home. For 2,000 Baht (40 Euro) you can buy a set with silicone mask, snorkel with purge and fins. In general also the better quality equipment is a bit cheaper than back home. The main difference though: in the Netherlands, the diveshops make a living from selling diving gear, here the diveshops make a living from selling daytrips, liveaboards and diving courses. That means selling equipment is an extra, and if you are diving with a certain diving center, quite often you will get a very attractive discount on diving equipment, all our students get a 20% discount e.g.
