Hi guy's,five week's to go and counting and need some info.First can i get glasses from scratch eg eye exam and then made up any examples of cost. Also cost of taxi to lamai village.Good tailors and rough estimate of cost of getting a suit made up.I noticed somewhere that the Q bar has opened in samui, any reports on this. And finally has anyone used the firing range there if what is the cost, any info on the above would be greatly appreciated.

Never been there, but from what I hear Q Bar sounds quite popular - but who knows. It could be just hype .
Sorry, no info on the eye exam and glasses.
As far as the taxi to Lamai Village, you are better off arranging it with Lamai Village. It will be cheaper for sure.
The firing range is called "Samui Shooting Sport." I would checkout the following page and give them a ring (the phone number is at the bottom or the page:

For the suite my guess is around 4-6,000 THB depending what you want. I recommend Chaweng Boutique on the beach road in Chaweng. They do nice work and they guys there are nice.
Good luck!
All the very best, Paul Valente The Best of Samui
