Agree with Bangkok Boutique Hotel not far from your old accommodation, overall of the room is okay and convenient location as it s only 5-minutes walking distance from MRT station.

A very pretty one is the Davis Hotel in Sukh 24, all the way down the soi behind Emporium.
On Suk soir 11, is the Dream Hotel, or alternatively the Metropolitain on South Sathorn next to the Banyan Tree Hotel.
Thoses tends to on the 5 star range. The closest to the bts would be the Dream hotel on Suk 11...

Baiyoke Sky (or Baiyoke Tower if you will) is the tallest hotel in Bangkok. Its' main come-on would be the rooms located in the very high floors (sky zone) plus the observation deck on top. Rooms are satifactorily maintained.
Baiyoke Suites is the oldest but is right smack in the middle of Pratunam Market. This place has done some renovations (mostly in the common areas) but not to the extent of eclipsing its sister-properties. Rooms are relatively more spacious, but with focus on old and dated.
Baiyoke Boutique Hotel is the newest, although their definition of a boutique hotel is something that elicits mixed reviews from its guests. It is a comparatively small place that should highlight on more personalized services, although the actual results are not always consistent.
All three hotels are located in the same vicinity, but I would rank Baiyoke Sky as my top pick among the 3.
