Hi Guys! Deliberating between these 2 Sukhumvit hotels : Bel-Aire Princess @ 16 Sukhumvit Road Soi 5 and Unico Grande Sukhumvit @ 27 Sukhumvit Road Soi 1. My preferences are : 1. Proximity in walking minutes to the nearest BTS station. 2. Proximity in walking minutes to Sukhumvit main road. 3. Proximity to street food vendors and Thai massage. 4. Safety and appeal of the Soi. 5. The hotel itself.. which is nicer and offers better breakfast? I will book the standard room only. Thanks, Mel

Between the two, Bel-Aire Princess has the edge in terms of your concerns. This full-service hotel is under the management of Dusit. Walk to the skytrain (and the main road) in 5 minutes. Full buffet breakfast every morning.

Unico Grand has a nice buffet breakfast. Its a fair hike back to Sumhumvit Road tho but it has lots of lovely restaurants nearby. We tried out most of them last month !! I walked along the soi on my own late at most nights to visit a friend staying in the Unico and found it extremely safe. Its directly opp the entrance to Bumrumgrad Hospital so there are always plenty of taxis and food vendors.
My friends room had a large fridge, kettle and microwave.
Edited to add that I forgot to add I took some photos of friends room if you would like to see them.
