Somerset Suwan Park View vs Majestic Grande

Have anyone stayed at the Majestic Grande Hotel located on Sukhumvit Soi 2 behind the Marriot Hotel?? How would you compare this hotel with Somerset Suwan Park View Serviced Apartment??

Arriving in Bangkok on the 21st December 2007 for one week.

Big difference really and I've stayed in both. Somerset Suwan Park View offers (a lot of) space and in-room facilities like kitchen, stereo/dvd system, more privacy and a much closer location to the skytrain, plus shopping. Breakfast buffet has few selections, though.

On the other hand, Majestic Grande is a typical boutique hotel. The rooms are rather small (around 25 sq.m) but with fairly tasteful furnishings. Breakfast buffet has more variety. Services and facilities are relatively complete since this is a hotel in the first place. The nearest skytrain station, though, is a longer walk compared to SSPV.

Between the two, I'd go for space and closer skytrain location, so SSPV wins out for me.
