hi there just wanted some info.
we are travelling to KL first for some shopping we only have 1 day so dont want to waste our time.
in Kl we are looking to shop brand clothing and we are staying at the Melia. just want some info on shopping hours as we arrive after 6pm and leave at 11am so wondering if the malls and markets are open throughout the night . where best to go for counterfeit lables and the best way to travel around shopping districts.
in lankawi we are staying at the Adanaman which sounds great by all accounts but we want some info on travvelling around the island. obvioulsy we might hire a car but whats the price on having a driver for a day.
also want some info on how far the beach is from the resort ?
what are the best seafood places to eat at?

From the Anderman you are looking at around a 30 min taxi ride to the main tourist area at Pantai Cenang and Pantai Tegah probably another 30 mins from there into Kuah Town.
The beach there is beautiful so you will have lovely surroundings.
Two things which are must dos - one is the cable car at the Oriental Village and the other is one of the Mangrove Tours. It is not necessary to book the cable car and I am sure the hotel will be able to arrange the mangrove tour for you, although try to book one which is eco friendly, some are not. From hotel suerly more expensive than Airport. it's costs around RM 120 to up, depend on what kind of car you will hire. Come back if you need any more information.

Hi..
So many question one time...I will try to reply my best.
Bars/cafes/restaurants(Pantai cenang) Suncafe for lunch dinner and cafe as well. Pantai Cenang and Tengah open the shops and restaurants around 3pm to 11pm or 2am.
Food and alcoho prices : just example Spagetty marinara around RM 22.00 glass wine or bottle wine depend on which restaurant you are going, but it's not really expensive bcz Langkawi is duty free island.
Kuah shopping: if you rental the car I think you can go to Kuah Town and Langkawi fair but Pantai Tengah you can find also some fine shops.
Seafood : wonderland Kuah, Langkawi fish farm Kuah, every corner in Pantai Tengah and Cenang you can find seafood.
Jetski: You can hire jetski Pantai cenang and Tengah are.
Hope it helps you.
