Any feedback would be welcome on the rebranded Grande Tropicana -now The Courtyard By Marriott. When is the opening and have sales commenced? Also are there any other new properties of interest?
This one is for those there at the moment or residents!
Responses would be most appreciated.

When i was there 2 weeks ago, there were still lots of work going on. Looks nice from the outside.

Just passed by on New Year. It's still under construction. I agree with Nautilus, it looks nice from outside.

Purely as a matter of interest regarding the re-furb, re-naming and or re-badging of Surin Beach Resort, Grand Tropicana Hotel, Kamala Bay Garden Resort under the Marriott name I found this and thought that you may wish to have a quick read.

Thanks os2go. I had read this item hence my interest in the progress. It would be interesting how it turns out because the Tropicana is a great location.

Hyatt is also opening one near the airport at Mai Khao beach, should be a Hyatt Regency, saw it on their website.
Shangrila at Bang Tao should be opening soon also.
Lots of new hotels.

Courtyard by Marriott is still under construction. I notice there are balconies on the top floors.
Lobby looks good.
I guess maybe 6 more months before opening.
