Hi Folks, I was Bangkok a few weeks ago and I stayed 3 nights at the Destinny Grande. Bit expensive but was nice.

I am going again in April, but I would like a Hotel a bit further down Sukhumvit so i can venture into some of the Soi's. I found that when staying in the Destinny, after a few drinks in an Irish Bar, I didn't leave Nana :-)

All comments will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I stayed at Grand Sukhumvit by Sofitel in Sukhumvit soi 6. It's very nice. Only a few minutes walk to Nana skytrain. Will stay there again tonight as I'm going to Bangkok today.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if this Hotel girl friendly by any chance?

Hi Irish,
try http://www.majesticsuites.com/. 3 minutes walk to nana station, just around the corner from nana plaza and a big supermarket over the road. Breakfast is good and the staff are great. They get you good deals on tours and transport.
You'll have to email them as to their guest friendly policy.

shway.

How far down Sukhumvit do you want to be? Anyways, one option is Citadines Sukhumvit on soi 16 which puts you near the soi Cowboy area. Another choice is the older but reliable Novotel Lotus. Both properties are guest-friendly and near the skytrain.
