Hi everyone,
This is my first time on these boards & first time to Thailand with my fiance. We are staying in Amari Atrium hotel. Now i have read a few reviews on this hotel mainly been a little far out from the centre of Bangkok. However what i'm looking for is any good reviews on the hotel & how can we arrange to get to see all the sites. We are staying in Bangkok for 3 nights. What would you recommend us to do in that amount of time. We are not getting any Tuk Tuk's however are the meter taxi's reliable. I'm just a little scared.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Oh were going in November, what is the weather like?
Thanks a million everyone.
Melissa

Since the hotel is under the Amari Group, expect above average services. Rooms are good, neither average nor luxurious. The location is a bit of a downside because the area around the same tends to have heavy traffic most of the time, aside from it being off-center. Taxis are reliable enough for as long as you give them clear directions on where to go to (with the assistance of the bellhop) upon leaving the hotel, and a calling card of Amari Atrium with the address in thai script for your return. There is a subway station you can use, although it can be a good 10-12 minute hike to the same.
