Hi guys! We are after some help!
We are planning our 3rd trip for later in the year and are staying (again!) @ Merlin Beach Resort. This time however we want specific rooms. We want the last 2 pool access rooms in building 4, on the side opposite the road. So if you were standing on the road looking @ the building we want the last 2 rooms on the left. And vice-versa if you were standing in the pool the rooms would be on your right. We think they are room numbers 4115 and 4116 or 4114. I'm pretty sure 4115 is in there somewhere!
Thanks all for your help and we look forward to spending more time on here planning our trip

Hi Camel
I think I know the rooms you are talking about as we are also returning there this year and have requested room 4112 we have stayed in this room before. I think it is 14 & 15 that you want they are the last 2 but you could go to their website http://www.merlinphuket.com and contact them via email I'm sure they would confirm for sure.

Hi Sarah
We have found the Merlin Beach Resort to be excellent. We have stayed there twice and haven't had any problems. The staff are friendly and helpful with all requests.
The rooms are nice and cleaned well by the friendly cleaning girls each day.
The facilities are great with 3 pools and lots of activities if you want to participate.
The best thing we like is that it is a little bit out of town, so if you feel like being around heaps of people you can, but the resort is beautiful and quiet.

Hi Jackie
Thanks for your reply. Yes I emailed Merlin Beach, but they didn't exactly confirm that those were the rooms I wanted to request. We ended up requesting rooms 4114,4115.
When are you headed back?
Also have you requested rooms before? If so has that worked out for you?
Did you book through an agent or through the hotel directly?

They are the last 2 rooms as I checked some photos I had. This is the first time we have requested a specific room we booked through a travel agent and they requested them for us but I will email the Merlin closer to the time if we don't get them it won't really matter cause we will have a pool access room no matter what its just a better side to be on I think :)we head back on 15th Oct for 14 nights can't wait we love this resort and Phuket.
