Hi all, I am travelling for 7 days to KL with my daughter late November 2008 primarily for shopping  I am hoping that you can help me with a few things:
1. Where are the best places for shopping in particular good quality knock-offs?;
2. Where do you suggest we stay? I have been told by a person from work that Swiss Inn is the place. Is there better places do you think bearing in mind my daughter is 18yo?
3. I thought we might stay in KL 2 days, go somewhere else for 2 nights and then return again to KL before going home. Where do you suggest we go? I thought it would be nice to stay in a water chalet but they appear to be rather expensive. Should we go to Sabah or Langkawi and if so, where should we go and stay and what is there to do there? I thought seeing some wildlife would be good - what do you think?? If we don't go to another island then where do you suggest we go if we stay in KL?
I just thought 7 full days shopping was too much even though my daughter would probably disagree!!
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

Hi, for sharing my experience with you. 1. In KL, few shopping complexs are KLCC,Lot 10, Sungai Wang, The Curve, Time Square which all are in town center, Sunway Pyramid and Midvalley which take about 20-45 minutes drive from town center . 2. Angkasa Hotel which situated in China Town and 5 minutes walk to KL Monorail which able to bring u to few shopping centers and KLIA(heard but haven't experienced), alternately u can take a cab. Langkawi is at the Northern part of Malaysia, which takes bout an hour flight from KLIA. If you like diving, snorkelling, relaxation at beach, seaviewing, Langkawi will be a recommended place . I have used my freind's credit card to book the hotel in KL. Can you tell me how to get the card authorization format from the hotel.
