hi,we are going to phuket from 27.05.2008 for 2 weeks. i finished my OW course in the Maldiveslast November, but my boy friendfinished only theory and he had 4 dives in lagoon. if he want complete his OW course (referral 4 or 5 OW dives), what would u recommend and where? and what about Advanced OW course for both of us? we don't choise our hotel wet, but it location may be in Nai Thon or near by Karon beach. are these good places for finding dive centers? what would u offer us? tu in advance

If you want to go diving, take into account that all daytrip boats depart from Chalong, in the Southern end of the island. Chalong itself does not offer much in terms of accommodation, beach and nice bars/restaurants, but places like Kata, Karon and Patong do. From all these places transfers to the pier will be included, from other places there will quite often be a surcharge. Kata is closest to Chalong, so I would recommend staying there, but Karon and Patong are very much possible.
When your boyfriend is finished with the open water course (2 days), the 2 of you can do the advanced course also 2 days).
