Hi, I'm needing some help or suggestions. In April just gone, I got some transitions lenses made at K.T. Optic on Thaweewong Rd opposite the Patong Bay Garden Resort. The glasses were for my husband and he wasn't with me on that trip, anyway I get home and they are completely wrong he can hardly even see out of them. I've tried everything I can to find a phone number for K.T Optic or Krungthai Optic which was on the receipt, but no go. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might tackle this or do I just chalk it up to a bad expensive experience.

I used K.T Optics when I was there 2 years ago Can confirm the 1st phone number. This was for their store on Beach Rd. My glasses never seemed right and broke not long after I got home. However my husband is really pleased with the pair he got. Mine were the most expensive. Pam

Hi my husband also bought two pairs of glasses last year and they were lucky to last a month. You get what you pay for I suppose.............. I going back in 5 weeks so if anyone can offer a good place to go, I would be very interested.

That's interesting Pamela I think I might try somewhere different next visit. Well I spoke to someone at K.T Optic and I think they understood. I told them I was sending the glasses back with our optometrists report, then they were going to fix them, and then they were going to send them back to me. Sounds simple enough, but time will tell. I figured the glasses were useless as they were anyway, so we'll see what happens.

Myself and my partner both bought prescription glasses in Patong last July, and had no problems what so ever and they were a very good price.
Cant remember the name but the shop is in Jungceylon shopping complex around the corner from the chemist next to Carefour. Madmax
