No but I wish I was. It's my husbands and my first time to. I have to wait until the end of October, and then I'm only there for 10 days.:( By the way welcome to the forum

we are also flying with thai. Its a bummer the time the flight leaves though. Hubby plans on working the day we leave says he will sleep better on the plane. Tell me have you flogged all the sites in regard to phuket?
Are you flying to Bangkok just for a stop over or are you staying there for a day or so. The flight time is a bit late so yes if you can sleep on a airoplane good luck I know I cant Where are you staying? you bet I have looked at a lot of sites and the people on the forum are a bundle of knowledge. Have you had a look on cathy's web site it is very good alot of information. Tips on resturants,shopping eating every thing you what to know it is on there. But just ask questions and you will get good advise.
you will love phuket not so sure about Bangkok but it was still nice. we went this time last year and are leaving again tommorrrow for 10 night Phuket and 3 Bangkok. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday and are taking our 20+ year old children who are so excited its not funny.Where are you staying when you go?

Yes we are stopping at bankok but just for a stopover. We have chosen to stay at the banthai. The main reason we have chosen this is for pool access, even though we are not in the heart of summer! fingers crossed it is still warm enough to swim. I do have one dillema [ i broke my foot in january and it is still broken ] i will be traveling with a moon boot

Hello Ian we are not staying at bangkok but will be spending ten nights at the banthati. Going by what everyone has posted i should enjoy my time there. I sometimes think i have overdone the phuket sites lol Our 20 year olds are married thank god. But if they were to come my husband would be calling them the free loaders ha ha
we are staying at the Banthai as well and nothing to worry about with my kids as the are paying there own way or they didn't get to come. I will be sure to tell you what i think of the banthai when I get back.
