Hi all
just wondering about the night markets?
Ive heard people talk about them but where are they and are they worth going too?
my aunty and uncle just got back from Patong and said the weather was really nice although very muggy in the evenings.
She had an email from her friends whos family r there now said the weather is wet all the time?
do u think we will still b able to have a good time and will the weather b good?
i dont want it to rain all the time i wanna tan by the pool ect!
No one has really answered my Question about chemically straightening! im having the bottom of my hair straightened whilst in Patong can anyone reccomend a good place please
last but not least...
i know havent even been yet but leaving in 4 days.
And yes planning to go back again after that one! haha i love Phuket!
Honest opinion 8 teens/young adults 18yrs-22yrs old love drinking, sunbathing, swimming, dancing/bars and shopping! must be in patong what hotel should we stay at where there will be other teens/young adults?

Yes the night markets are good and worth going to. They are totally different to shopping in Phuket. It is also a place where locals shop so you get a glimps of there lives as well.
The weather is NEVER predictable!!! I also go to lie by the beach etc, but you will still have a good time even if it rains the whole time, unless you choose not to have a good time. The weather over the last few weeks has been great, but according to those there it has rained for the last few days, think of this as a good sign cause it might fine up by the time you get there.
Hotel question, I wouldn't worry too much about if there will be other teens at your hotel, 8 of you is all ready a party!!! You will meet enough young people when you are out and about at the bars etc. Risking sounding like an "old Fart" when there is so many of you remember to be repectful of the other people in your hotel, who may be there for peace (I respect this is probally why you are looking for a hotel with more young people in it, someone else may be able to shed more light on one) Be careful about the legel drinking age over there, it is "20?"!!! Whilst this does not tend to be enforce most of the time, keep it in mind and dont draw too much attention to yourselves in a bad way, or you may find it enforced.
Sorry dont know anything about hair straightning over there, I get mine braided while there so I dont have to worry about it.
